A 7-year-old boy is in stable condition after falling out of a second-floor window of a Long Island home.

The incident took place around 11:25 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 10 in West Babylon, said the Suffolk County Police.

According to police, officers responded to 1167 Little East Neck Road, after the child slipped and fell through an opening in the window, police said.

He was transported via ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
